Before I go ape-shit reblogging all the royal wedding madness…I would like to acknowledge that I understand there are more pressing issues in the world (e.g. Japan’s earthquake aftermath & various tornado disasters in the U.S.) that require media and public attention. 

While I know the unveiling of Kate’s dress will not solve the problems of the world, it will in that moment, provide the world with a modern-day fairytale for those desperately seeking an escape.  AND although we are very aware that fairy-tales are hardly reality, they do reinforce universal themes that tie humanity together, i.e. LOVE.  So be happy that this media frenzy is sending messages of unity and love rather than those of despair and negativity; maybe when we all come back down to reality post-royal nuptials, we can look to the issues in the world with a little more love in our hearts.
