TEAL is the new Pink…get used to it!! Most of you probably aren’t aware that September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month. Last September, on behalf of the feisty, Latina mama (Marisela Walker), Suzette and I walked for the Gail Parkins Memorial Ovarian Cancer Walk & 5k Run. Since we were not able to do the walk or run this year, we thought that we would still do something for Ovarian Cancer Awareness. So, on Sunday, September 26th SJ and I will be having a Teal Thrift at the NC State Fair Grounds. Here we will be combining our need for a post-grad purge (clothing/accessories/housewares/knick-knacks) along with our need to champion this cause! A portion of our proceeds will be donated to the Gail Parkins Memorial; here’s a link to the Facebook event page: http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=152396368116515&ref=ts
We hope to see you there!

{Alice} There is no use trying; one can’t believe impossible things.
{Queen} I dare say you haven’t had much practice. When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.
